Standing for Committe

If you'd like to be one of the happy band of volunteers who help keep the show on the road, read on.

The committee meets every 4-6 weeks and we move the meetings around the country to try to make sure that no one person always has to do the travelling. We supplement this with occasional 'conference calls' using low cost telephone lines. The committee's job is to plan and organise the next annual conference and regional events. In addition, it'll take forward any initiatives arising from previous conferences. It will support the membership, do what is necessary to promote co-operation with our sister organisations in other countries, manage our legal responsibility to handle funds, and respond to events during the year.

It takes time and commitment but, in return, you have the real pleasure of being part of a team composed of all ages and backgrounds (very stimulating and often eye-opening) together with the satisfaction of knowing that you're doing your bit to keep natd going.
